Built in 1917 by Dr. Ruliff L. Truitt, the college acquired the building in 2006 and dedicated it as the Abe House in recognition of Trustee Bill Abe ’50 and wife Mary Bomberger ’52 Abe.

The A.A. Smith House was built in 1885 by Professor and Mrs. Henry C. Smith on property purchased in 1872 by Smith’s father A.A. Smith, the College’s first president. In 2008 Bartley and Maricela ’99 Madden donated the house to the College after restoring it to its Victorian roots
