Richard Luze (right) arrived as an admission counselor in 1966 and quickly became director of admission. While serving as vice president for continuing education, Luze introduced Weekend College. In 1985 he became the vice president for institutional advancement. Luze provided an important continuity of leadership as executive vice president when President Gael Swing became ill.
